Apple Cinnamon Oat Bars

Wholesome oat bars with spiced apple filling. Like apple pie for breakfast.

  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • For filling: 3 cups diced apples, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 2 tbsp flour

    Mix oat crust ingredients; press 2/3 into pan.

    Cook apples with sugar, cinnamon, flour until soft.

    Spread over crust.

    Crumble remaining crust on top.

    Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes.
