Apple Hand Pies

Portable little pies with spiced apple filling and cinnamon sugar glaze.

  • 2 sheets pie crust
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced small
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Egg wash
  • For glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tbsp milk, 1/2 tsp cinnamon

    Cook apples with sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, lemon juice.

    Cool filling completely.

    Cut crust into rounds.

    Fill; fold and crimp edges.

    Brush with egg wash.

    Bake at 400F for 18-20 minutes.
