German chocolate layer cake with cherries and whipped cream.

- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup hot coffee
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 cans cherries, drained
- 1/4 cup kirsch
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- Chocolate shavings
