  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg for wash

    Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

    Knead 15 minutes until smooth.

    Add butter gradually; knead until incorporated.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Shape and place in loaf pan.

    Rise 2 hours.

    Brush with egg wash; bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes.
