Flaky pastry pockets filled with sweetened cream cheese and fruit preserves.

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Fruit preserves
  • Egg wash
  • Powdered sugar glaze

    Cut pastry into squares.

    Beat cream cheese, sugar, yolk, vanilla.

    Pipe onto pastry centers.

    Add dollop of preserves.

    Fold corners to center.

    Brush with egg wash.

    Bake at 400F for 15-18 minutes.
