Chocolate Babka
Rich twisted bread swirled with chocolate filling. Better than cinnamon babka.

- 3 cups flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- For filling: 6 oz dark chocolate, 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, 2 tbsp cocoa
- Simple syrup for brushing

Make enriched dough; knead 10 minutes.

Rise 1 1/2 hours.

Make filling: melt chocolate and butter; stir in sugar, cocoa.

Roll dough; spread filling.

Roll up; cut lengthwise.

Twist halves together; place in loaf pan.

Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes.
