Rich, moist chocolate cupcakes topped with silky chocolate buttercream frosting.

- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup hot coffee
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla

Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.

Add egg, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla; beat well.

Stir in hot coffee (batter will be thin).
