Chocolate Hazelnut Cake

Rich flourless chocolate cake with Nutella frosting. Naturally gluten-free!

  • 8 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup ground hazelnuts
  • For frosting: 1 cup Nutella, 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • Whole hazelnuts for decoration

    Melt chocolate and butter; cool slightly.

    Beat in sugar and eggs one at a time.

    Fold in ground hazelnuts.

    Bake at 350°F in greased springform for 25-30 minutes.

    Fold Nutella into whipped cream; frost cake.

  • Toast and skin hazelnuts before grinding
