Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
Soft, chewy cookies loaded with gooey chocolate chips. The perfect treat for any day!

- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup softened butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.

Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined. Don't overmix!

Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
