Classic Pumpkin Pie
Traditional spiced pumpkin pie with flaky homemade crust. A Thanksgiving must!

- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Place crust in pie plate; crimp edges decoratively.

Mix pumpkin, sugar, spices, and salt.

Beat in eggs, then evaporated milk.

Pour into crust.

Bake 15 minutes at 425°F, then reduce to 350°F.

Bake 40-50 more minutes until set.
