German Chocolate Cupcakes
Rich chocolate cupcakes topped with coconut pecan caramel frosting.

- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup hot coffee
- 1/4 cup oil
- For topping: 1 cup evaporated milk, 1 cup sugar, 3 egg yolks, 1/2 cup butter, 1 1/3 cups coconut, 1 cup pecans
