Jam Thumbprint Cookies
Buttery cookies with a well of sweet jam in the center.

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup jam (any flavor)

Cream butter and sugar; add yolks and vanilla.

Mix in flour and salt.

Roll into 1-inch balls.

Place on baking sheet; make indent with thumb.

Fill each with 1/2 tsp jam.

Bake at 350°F for 12-14 minutes.

Cool on pan.

- •Re-indent halfway through baking if needed
