Lemon Poppy Seed Cake
Light, bright lemon cake flecked with poppy seeds and glazed with lemon syrup.

- 2 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- Zest of 3 lemons
- 1/2 cup milk
- For syrup: 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1/4 cup sugar
