Three-ingredient British dessert: cream, sugar, and lemon. Impossibly silky.

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Lemon zest
  • Shortbread for serving

    Heat cream and sugar, stirring, until sugar dissolves.
