Mexican Hot Chocolate

Rich hot chocolate with cinnamon and a kick of cayenne. Bold and warming.

  • 4 cups milk
  • 4 oz Mexican chocolate or dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Whipped cream
  • Cinnamon stick

    Heat milk until steaming.

    Add chocolate; whisk until melted.

    Add cinnamon, cayenne, vanilla.

    Whisk vigorously until frothy.
