Salted Mixed Nut Tart

Caramelized honey filling loaded with mixed nuts and a hint of sea salt.

  • 1 tart shell
  • 2 cups mixed nuts (pecans, almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts)
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Toast nuts lightly; spread in tart shell.

    Heat honey, brown sugar, cream, and butter until bubbling.

    Cook 2 minutes; add vanilla.

    Pour over nuts.

    Bake 25-30 minutes until bubbly.

    Sprinkle with sea salt; cool completely.
