Garlic Butter Naan

Soft pillowy Indian flatbread brushed with garlic butter. Restaurant quality at home.

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • For topping: 4 tbsp butter, 3 cloves garlic minced, fresh cilantro

    Mix dry ingredients; add milk, yogurt, oil.

    Knead 5 minutes.

    Rise 1 hour.

    Divide into 8; roll into ovals.

    Cook on very hot skillet 2 minutes per side.

    Brush with garlic butter.

    Sprinkle with cilantro.
