Classic Pound Cake

Dense, buttery cake with a tender crumb, perfect plain or with fresh berries and cream.

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk

    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
