Fresh Strawberry Layer Cake
Pink strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream and fresh berries.

- 1/2 cup strawberry puree
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Pink food coloring
- For frosting: 1 1/2 cups butter, 6 cups powdered sugar, 1/2 cup strawberry puree

Puree fresh strawberries; strain.

Make white cake batter; add strawberry puree.
